Happy Monday!! This little guy is super special to us. He belongs to two very close friends we call family! We took these images last May when Masten graduated from Preschool! He is in his last week of Kindergarten and will soon be a big First Grader! If you have never met sweet Masten he such a delight. We LOVE you so much sweet boy.

Samy and Margaret just exchanged vows in April! The ceremony was held at St Andrews Lutheran Church and the reception at Lake Hickory Country Club. I love when I walk in to see my bride on the wedding day and I'm greeted with a huge smile and a hug!! These two had a perfect day. The weather, the people, the ceremony, the love... Saturday June 7 is a very special day for these two. It was the day they met their precious boy and let him fly with Jesus. We had previously shot another session for Ashley and Josh and had lots of fun, but this session was different. There are times in our lives when we meet others and they have no idea how they bless the people they are around. I can't explain it. I just know Ryan and I were blessed truly blessed to be a part of this journey with Ashley and Josh. For those of you that do not know Ashley... they were told during her pregnancy that their sweet boy Sawyer had holoprosencephaly and most likely wouldn't live long after birth. Ashley described the session to me like this "for us this shoot was about us capturing living life with him while we still had him with us. For us the shoot was an adventure with our son." We talked about the session prior to the shoot and planned this little adventure. Thank you for allowing us to capture your sweet family! We loved it, enjoyed and have been truly blessed by it. A beautiful day on the beach!! We had the absolute pleasure of working with these two for their engagement and bridal session. Their wedding was held on Ocean Isle Beach in NC! The weather seemed iffy that morning but it turned out almost perfect! We chose the end of the island for their first glance. We sincerely love you two!! This exact day ONE year ago was pure bliss. Just wait untill you see their smiles! This was one of those weddings where honestly nothing went as planned...our timeline for photos just got put away. The rain had other plans! Rain or not it was perfect. I honestly can't tell you how calm this bride was and how the rain just really didn't stress her much. Jessica knew no matter what she would marry her sweet fiance' Walt! It was a huge help she had Meris in charge with "The Whole Shebang" to rearrange the wedding from outdoors to indoors. On this day it rained and rained... Ryan ran out to get Jessica a pair of rainboots and she was set! The rain let up just enough for our first glance. I adored their first glance... If any one getting married is unsure of doing the first glance or not please talk to several couples that did! Its so awesome and seriously makes the day even more special! Trust us!! After the first glance we had time to get some shots on the grounds of beautiful Chetola Resort. Ryan and I got to spend alot of time with Jessica before her big day. We shot her and Walt's engagement pictures and Jess' bridals! Take a look here and here! Our couples become friends and its fantastic.
