Oh my goodness this day was so fun and perfect! The weather, the people, the couple! Maggie and Tyson chose to get married at Maggie's Grandfather's home and it was precious. We did a first look with Maggie and her Dad and you are going to love it. You will see this group had FUN at the reception held at The Old Armory Buidling in Morganton!! Happy Friday Friends! Goodness you are going to love this session! We shot Lee and TJ's engagement session in Marion last year near Lake Tahoma. Ryan and I absolutely love when we get this precious time with our couples to grab awesome engagement pictures but to also get to know our couple. This is so important for the wedding day and we adore these sessions! This session reminds me of the movie Dirty Dancing for some reason! I just LOVE it!! Family : Our Home: Personal
Happy Wednesday Friends! Its a new year and new things for us as a family and for Joy Davis Photography. We sold our home last Fall for new adventures, but I wanted a few pics of us and the kids just being us in our room at that home! Gramps helped us grab a few pics of all four of us. One of our large goals of 2014 is to do more things like this... plan more family time than last year! We all stay busy and days pass easily. My words for 2014 are "let it shine". My kids and I have been singing "this little light of mine" ALOT... its so precious to hear them sing the words and hold their little finger up. I want us to "shine" more as family in togetherness, helping others, and our time with God. Joy Davis Photography is almost fully booked for 2014 wedding season. WOW! We are so humbled and blessed. Because of our little's we will only accept a certain amount of weddings to capture in a year...this helps us to focus on those bride and grooms and our kiddos!
