Father's Day

Happy Father's to all those Dad's out there.  To be a Father is one thing but to be a Dad is an entirely different picture.  This of course is my opinion, however it takes a lot more love, care and time to be a Dad.  This "first look with Dad" is sure one to NOT miss.  In 12 years of shooting weddings this one is the BEST.  This is what photography is about.  Capturing emotion true and raw.  I realize it can't always be this raw but when it is... its huge.  Looking ahead 10-15 years I can completely say this will be Ryan and Jayla... (I'll be there sobbing as well).  Emily and Daryl thank you for allowing us to be the ones to capture this moment.

Meredith and John : Engaged

We are super excited about spending the day with this sweet couple tomorrow!  They will get married at Chetola Resort in beautiful Blowing Rock NC.  We shot their engagement this past Spring in the Blue Ridge Mountains and even the fog makes beautiful images.  See you both tomorrow! Stanton & Kimberly : Engagement

We had so much fun with Kimberly and Stanton for their engagement session.  Stanton loves to fish so we incorporated a little bit of mountains and of course the water for their session! Tomorrow is the big day and its going to be awesome.  Look forward to seeing you two beautiful people very soon! Congratulations!!

Carrie and Sam's engagement session was the perfect Winter shoot! Sometimes we have visions for shoots and it takes patience to get what we want =).  After Carrie and I scheduled and rescheduled to choose the perfect day!  This session was filled with a lovely cold day, loads of snow, lots of love and tons of fun!  Check out their engagement session below AND featured in the January issue of Carolina Bride magazine!!
