Adam & Rebecca were married on October 2, 2010 at Dryponds Baptist Church and the reception was held at the bride and grooms sweet little home! Beautiful weather, beautiful family and friends, and awesome couple! We had a great time with these two... laid back and definitely enjoyed their special day! I have to add that the delicious pies were all made handmade by the bride's Grandfather!! Much Love and many blessings to you two!!! 
Hall Wedding Valle Crucis
This day and wedding couldn't have been any better!! Clayton and Ashley were married in Valle Crucis at the beautiful Apple Barn. The morning started off with Ashley and her sweet friends having their hair styled by the talented artist at Westglow Salon. Once the ladies arrived at the Mast Farm Inn where the couple would stay for the night after the wedding, we then began our First Glance at the Valle Crucis Park. So many things on this day was super sentimental to this beautiful couple! The Mast Farm Inn is such a perfect, beautiful and relaxing Inn. Oh I so hope one day for my husband and I to just take a night or two and enjoy a quite evening at this gorgeous place. If any of you know me at all you know I LOVE anything old, antique, vintage and especially with meaning! I could have just stayed there for hours taking pics of the adorable little things at The Mast Farm Inn. Each room has their on glass bottled of filtered water and delicious cookies. SO cute. After the first glance at the Valle Crucis Park we headed over to the Mast General Store and took some fun shots in the "candy barrell". Such a fun group! The outdoor ceremony was beautiful and full of very close friends and family! Ashley and Clayton's adorable little blue eyed boy was just precious!! The reception was held inside the Apple Barn and the guest had loads of yummy food, cake and drinks! Clayton and Ashley thank you so much for allowing Joy Davis Photography to a part of your absolute special special day!! We love our clients and love that our clients become our friends.

Jordan & Brittany were married September 25, 2010 at Brittany's Parents house in Hudson NC! Such a sweet but simple ceremony. Love all the little details. Daddy built the arch for the wedding and they created the ceremony set up. It was perfect in Mom and Dad's front yard! 
Sunflowers were the choice of flower for the special occasion BUT as we were taking bride and groom shots in front of the bride and groom's new little home we discovered a sunflower has grown right in their backyard! (pic on the left)

Ryan and I had the pleasure of capturing Roy & Danielle's Wedding on July 31, 2010 in Smithfield NC (a little pass Raleigh).I had spoken to Danielle before the wedding about possible locations for the pictures and she wasn't very sure but thought there may be some good spots! Holy WOW... we pulled in and we were super excited about what we saw! Tobacco fields, old barn, old run down house, and just open fields!! YES...loveliness. To add to this nice area we had a beautiful bridal party to have fun with! Danielle and Roy are very blessed with very fun, sweet, personal and easy going friends and family. Gorgeous Couple + Beautiful Evening = Anniversary Shoot
Meet Tracie & Jordan! I'm in love with this entire shoot!! We had a blast and so much to tell. These two are all ready married and have been for 4 years. They just wanted to do have a little fun in wedding attire and incorporate a few things about them in the shoot. Tracie loves sweet things, Jordan LOVES Moonpies, and they both adore each other ;). Jordan happens to be my cousin! What makes his suit even more special is its one of our Grandfather's suits ... and the tie ... he is wearing papaw's tie too! LOVE. The beautiful copper heart in the picture below was made by Jordan for Tracie when they were dating before marriage. So sweet. The beautiful china we used is Tracie's and she wanted it to remind her of her Grandmother... she said" it looks just like something my Grandma would use". You two are beautiful inside and out.
