HAPPY FIRST YEAR ANNIVERSARY to Carey and Amy!! This super cute hometown wedding was held one year ago today at the groom's Father's home. From the relaxed bride and groom to the super fun wedding party this day was perfect. You will see raindrops in a few pictures as we waited out a storm before beginning the ceremony! The sprinkles brought beautiful light while these two said their vows. This wedding included guns (in a good way ;)) ...when the couple was announced the matron of honor and best man fired one off for the occasion!! This engagement session is perfect timing for this super cold weekend plus a little bit of valentines love! Whitney and Derek chose the Wilson's Creek area for their engagement session. Happy Happy New Year to all! Whew what a busy, crazy, awesome, super blessed, wonderful year for us!! Its been almost a year since Ive put a single thing on my blog so I thought this would be a great way to start off 2013! I have lots of blogging to catch up to but this is a start =). Thank you so much to all of our clients, friends and family for your support and love. We meet so many wonderful clients who quickly become close friends and its a true blessing. Our whole heart is put into our work and we truly thank you for your confidence in us to capture so many amazing moments. Hope you enjoy a few pictures from some of our fantastic couples of 2012! Wes & Alyssa's super adorable engagement session!

Still playing catch up! =) Alyssa & Wesley love to camp, hike and Wesley likes to pick the guitar.  We incorporated all of this in their session!  It was a beautiful evening ... aren't they adorable!?  Their wedding up next!!

Hall Wedding Valle Crucis

This day and wedding couldn't have been any better!! Clayton and Ashley were married in Valle Crucis at the beautiful Apple Barn.  The morning started off with Ashley and her sweet friends having their hair styled by the talented artist at Westglow Salon.  Once the ladies arrived at the Mast Farm Inn where the couple would stay for the night after the wedding, we then began our First Glance at the Valle Crucis Park. So many things on this day was super sentimental to this beautiful couple!  The Mast Farm Inn is such a perfect, beautiful and relaxing Inn.  Oh I so hope one day for my husband and I to just take a night or two and enjoy a quite evening at this gorgeous place.  If any of you know me at all you know I LOVE anything old, antique, vintage and especially with meaning!  I could have just stayed there for hours taking pics of the adorable little things at The Mast Farm Inn.   Each room has their on glass bottled of filtered water and delicious cookies.  SO cute.  After the first glance at the Valle Crucis Park we headed over to the Mast General Store and took some fun shots in the "candy barrell".  Such a fun group!  The outdoor ceremony was beautiful and full of very close friends and family!     Ashley and Clayton's adorable little blue eyed boy was just precious!!  The reception was held inside the Apple Barn and the guest had loads of yummy food, cake and drinks!  Clayton and Ashley thank you so much for allowing Joy Davis Photography to a part of your absolute special special day!!  We love our clients and love that our clients become our friends.
