Happy Wednesday Friends! Its a new year and new things for us as a family and for Joy Davis Photography. We sold our home last Fall for new adventures, but I wanted a few pics of us and the kids just being us in our room at that home! Gramps helped us grab a few pics of all four of us. One of our large goals of 2014 is to do more things like this... plan more family time than last year! We all stay busy and days pass easily. My words for 2014 are "let it shine". My kids and I have been singing "this little light of mine" ALOT... its so precious to hear them sing the words and hold their little finger up. I want us to "shine" more as family in togetherness, helping others, and our time with God. Joy Davis Photography is almost fully booked for 2014 wedding season. WOW! We are so humbled and blessed. Because of our little's we will only accept a certain amount of weddings to capture in a year...this helps us to focus on those bride and grooms and our kiddos!

We just wrapped up our last wedding of 2013! We celebrated with Ben and Anna in Charlotte on Saturday December 21 as they said I DO!! I wanted to share their engagement session we shot back in the Summer! Lets just say they had so much fun. These two had a blast! We started off very casual and ended with a bang! Anna loves to paint so we decided to incorporate that into their session. They love being silly and having fun. As we were finishing up the session it started pouring the rain...I mean pouring... The last shot! Love. Get ready!!

Happy Sunday Friends! We got to capture and celebrate with these two as they said "I DO" yesterday. Below is a few shots from their engagement session we shot several months back. We started out the evening at Jordan's family's farm...including his Dad's new Vespa ;),the neighbors awesome truck and a few with one of their pups! Our evening finished up at Kelsey's Mom and Dad's house on the lake! Such a fun evening with two awesome people! ENJOY!
