We cannot wait to meet this sweet baby girl that will be here soon!!! We absolutely adore these two. Devin and Olivia have been married three years and you can see their fantastic wedding here! The weather the evening of our shoot was very iffy...a bit of rain and thunder! We ran out and shot in between rain showers but I it made for awesome sunlight. Happy Monday!! This little guy is super special to us. He belongs to two very close friends we call family! We took these images last May when Masten graduated from Preschool! He is in his last week of Kindergarten and will soon be a big First Grader! If you have never met sweet Masten he such a delight. We LOVE you so much sweet boy.

Ashley & Josh : Adventure with Sawyer | North Carolina Photographers
Saturday June 7 is a very special day for these two. It was the day they met their precious boy and let him fly with Jesus. We had previously shot another session for Ashley and Josh and had lots of fun, but this session was different. There are times in our lives when we meet others and they have no idea how they bless the people they are around. I can't explain it. I just know Ryan and I were blessed truly blessed to be a part of this journey with Ashley and Josh. For those of you that do not know Ashley... they were told during her pregnancy that their sweet boy Sawyer had holoprosencephaly and most likely wouldn't live long after birth. Ashley described the session to me like this "for us this shoot was about us capturing living life with him while we still had him with us. For us the shoot was an adventure with our son." We talked about the session prior to the shoot and planned this little adventure. Thank you for allowing us to capture your sweet family! We loved it, enjoyed and have been truly blessed by it. Graduation! : Sarah's a Teacher | NC Portrait Photographers
Meet Miss Hughes! =) Sarah has been doing her student teaching in my little girls class this year at Granite Falls Elementary and lets just say she is dreading "Miss Hughes" last day! I believe the entire class has loved having her a part of their group this year. We had the opportunity to photograph Sarah to capture her graduation from Appalachian State University. Sarah will be graduating May 10, 2014 at Appalachian State University with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education with a concentration in Mathematics. She is graduating with Magna Cum Laude Honors and served on the leadership team of the Gamma Beta Phi Honors Society. Finally she served as a judicial chairman as a member of Seta Tau Alpha Fraternity. Congratulations Sarah!! You will be a fantastic teacher!! Much Love~ joy
