Carrie and Sam's engagement session was the perfect Winter shoot! Sometimes we have visions for shoots and it takes patience to get what we want =).  After Carrie and I scheduled and rescheduled to choose the perfect day!  This session was filled with a lovely cold day, loads of snow, lots of love and tons of fun!  Check out their engagement session below AND featured in the January issue of Carolina Bride magazine!! A wonderful evening spend with these two in Charleston for their engagement session!  We started at the Battery then headed through town stopping at many of the beautiful spots throughout Charleston SC.  We could photograph here every day!  Shooting in town is just one of the many beautiful spots this place offers.  Rebecca is the owner/author of Darling Cashmere...check it out!  Tomorrow we will capture their beautiful ceremony in NC!  Look foward to seeing you both! TJ + Lee : Enagaged : NC Wedding Photographers

Happy Friday Friends!  Goodness you are going to love this session!  We shot Lee and TJ's engagement session in Marion last year near Lake Tahoma.  Ryan and I absolutely love when we get this precious time with our couples to grab awesome engagement pictures but to also get to know our couple.  This is so important for the wedding day and we adore these sessions! This session reminds me of the movie Dirty Dancing for some reason! I just LOVE it!! These two will say I DO tomorrow and we are super excited to be a part of their day!  TJ and Lee's engagement session was also featured on Southern Bride and Groom Magazine Blog!!! DIY Wedding: Whitney + Derek | NC Wedding Photographers

Yesterday marked two years for this awesome couple! I'm just a bit upset with myself I'm this behind on posting these beautiful weddings we get to capture!  This was simple perfect.  The weather was beautiful and the day was nothing but pure love.  If anyone knows me at all they know I love vintage, antiques, DIY etc... so needless to say we were giddy as ever shooting this loveliness!  Whitney with the help of her Mom and Sis did most all you see!  Casey Norberg created the beautiful cake while Mooresridge Catering provided the yummy southern meal.  The details are endless and I could have blogged for days! Whitney wore her Mother's wedding dress and then changed into another fantastic dress for the reception! Get ready lots of goodness!  Happy Happy Anniversary! Much Love~

Allie + Billy : Mocksville Wedding Photographers :DIY Wedding!!

Oh My Goodness!! Ok, in celebration of Allie and Billy being married ONE Year I'm finally blogging their most perfect, beautiful and very warm day!! You have to read a little about Allie and Billy and how they met...their story is so stinkin' cute! Click here to read about them on a Carolina Bride feature online. This day was perfect with lots of SUNSHINE! I got a little carried away with blogging this one but just adore so many. The wedding was held at Camp Manna Ministries where Billy's parents own a Christian camp for kids, churches and families. This was Camp Manna's first wedding and I believe they have had several since Allie and Billy's day. You will see below how beautiful this property is and all that it offers. Allie had her bridesmaids pick out their own dress and its so beautiful how it all came together. The cake was made by Billy's Aunt and the flowers were purchased at a local store and put together by a family friend. Several of their reception decorations reflect on their love for Africa and what it means to the both of them. You could honestly feel Christ with no doubt around this family during this entire day. Allie and Billy thank you again for allowing us to be your wedding photographers. MUCH LOVE~
